A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING - Bellevue Little Theatre

Due to production difficulties, Bellevue Little Theatre is announcing a change in the spring musical. Blame It On the Movies previously scheduled as our fourth production of the current season, has been replaced by A Grand Night for Singing, a Rogers and Hammerstein musical revue.

Auditions for A Grand Night for Singing will be held Sunday, January 26 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM and Monday, January 27 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the theatre, 203 West Mission Ave. in Bellevue. Call backs will be held as necessary.

Rehearsals begin in late February and will normally be held Monday through Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Auditioners should be prepared to list scheduling conflicts at auditions.

This revue will be directed and choreographed by Bridget J. Robbins. Music Director will be Ric Swanson Mark Ferrill is producer.

Vocalists of all ages are needed---including 6--8 young people aged 8--16. 12--16 men and women of all ages are also required.

Those auditioning should prepare a memorized song, with a length of approximately one minute. Rogers & Hammerstein songs are encouraged. An accompanist and CD player will be provided. Auditions may also consist of small group sight reading and singing. and those auditioning should be prepared to dance.
