Wasabia is a dark comedy by Wendy Herlich that explores an unconventional friendship between Vivian, a 73-year-old dealing with early-stage dementia, and Carla, a 19-year-old hospice volunteer. As Vivian enlists Carla's help in obtaining life-ending drugs, their bond is tested amid surreal alternate realities represented by characters Val and Di, who personify medications and their effects. The world premiere at Centenary Stage Company promises a thought-provoking narrative filled with humor and introspection, running from April 3 to April 13, 2025.
