Step back in time on Friday and Saturday, October 21 – 22 at 8:00 PM, when the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company presents Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 'Sherlock Holmes' Adventure of the Norwood Builder.' It is produced in the style of a radio broadcast, complete with live sound effects and commercials, just like the Sherlock Holmes' radio series on NBC that premiered in 1930.

East Lynne Theater Company will present a reading of 'Something to Vote For' by Charlotte Perkins Gilman for free, due to support from The New Jersey Council for the Humanities through its 'NJ Women Vote: The 19th Amendment at 100' initiative, and The New Jersey Theatre Alliance's 'Stages Festival.'

Although 2019 season tickets had to be purchased by July 1, the award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company continues to offer other savings that are both flexible and affordable.
East Lynne Theater Company, Cape May Stage, and GABLES joined forces to support LGBTQ+ Gay Pride Month with 'Cape Pride: Two Staged Readings.' On June 10, 'The Normal Heart' was at Cape May Stage, and on Monday, June 24, 'The Temperamentals' by Jon Marans, will be at The First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, 500 Hughes St., where ELTC is in residence. Time is 8:00 p.m., and admission is by donation, with a suggested minimum of $10 in cash or by check, at the door. 50% will be shared between Cape May Stage and East Lynne Theater Company (both nonprofits); 50% will be donated to the Gay Men's Health Crisis (another nonprofit) to support its on-going work. Following the reading will be a Q&A with the cast.
The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company's popular 'Tales of the Victorians' returns for its thirtieth year! Take tea at a lovely venue, indulge in tantalizing treats, and listen to stories by famous American authors like O. Henry, Zora Neale Hurston, and Mark Twain read by ELTC performers for only $12.00. Children are always welcome, and ages 12 and under are free.

He also claimed he could take pictures of ghosts with his camera. Mary Todd Lincoln was among the many who flocked to his studio to have pictures taken just to see who would be in the photo. Mumler's photo of Mrs. Lincoln shows the ghost of her husband standing above her, his hand on her shoulder.
