Deven May Joins Cast of Vegas JERSEY BOYS 12/1

Jersey Boys Las Vegas, which recently marked six months of successful performances at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino, welcomes Deven May to the talented company today, December 1st. May will assume the role of Tommy DeVito as current cast member Erik Bates returns to the Jersey Boys national tour.

No stranger to the Jersey Boys family, May is well known for his portrayal of Tommy DeVito from the first national tour. Joining Erich Bergen (Bob Gaudio), Rick Faugno (Frankie Valli) and Jeff Leibow (Nick Massi), May will have the unique opportunity to perform in DeVito's hometown.

May has also been seen in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde and in the title role of Laurence O'Keefe's musical Bat Boy.

Presented in Las Vegas in a unique, custom-built theatre, The Palazzo is currently the only place on the West Coast to see Jersey Boys.

Jersey Boys performs at The Palazzo Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 7 p.m.; Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.; Saturday at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and dark on Wednesday. Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty. Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe. The Las Vegas production is staged by the entire original Broadway creative team, led by director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo. Jersey Boys has scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting by Howell Binkley, sound by Steve Canyon Kennedy and projections design by Michael Clark. The orchestrations are by Steve Orich and the music direction and vocal arrangements by Ron Melrose.
