Actors NET to Stage OLIVER!, 7/12-28
Lionel Bart's classic Broadway musical Oliver! brings to exuberant life Charles Dickens' beloved characters from the novel Oliver Twist onstage in the intimate Heritage Center Theatre in Morrisville, PA. Co-Founder Joe Doyle of Morrisville directs the tale of an orphan boy who falls into the grip of Fagin, the conniving leader of a band of pickpocketing children.
Adam Juraga of Morrisville costars as the title character, alongside DeLarme Landes of Doylestown as "Fagin" and Tess Ammerman of Arneytown, NJ as "Nancy," the Cockney wench who befriends the lad. Also starring Scott Lutz of Levittown as criminal "Bill Sykes," Dana Maginity of Doylestown as Nancy's friend "Bet," Dennis McGuire of Levittown as workhouse boss "Mr. Bumble," Marie Maginity of Doylestown as "Widow Corney," Peter Sauer of Yardley as undertaker "Mr. Sowerberry," Florence Mitchell of Yardley as "Mrs. Sowerberry" and Forrester Connor of Yardley as "The Artful Dodger."The show runs July 12 - 28, 2013. (Twelve performances over three-weekends only). All three weekends: Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m. Also, Thursday July 18 & 25 at 8 p.m.and Saturday July 27 at 2 p.m. Performances play The Heritage Center Theatre, 635 North Delmorr Avenue (Route 32), Morrisville, PA - on the Delaware, near the Calhoun Street Bridge.
