The Sonntag Jazz Trio was founded recently, in 2023, by Monadnock Region natives, music colleagues, and friends, Logan Phillips (Bass), Kevin Sonntag (Saxophone) and Kyle Trombley (Piano). The trio specializes in classic jazz tunes spanning from the 20s to the 80s. Their mission is to promote the musical artform of jazz and bring quality jazz music to their audiences across northern New England.
Comprised of current and soon-to-be graduates of the Keene State College Music Department, the trio quickly earned acclaim throughout southwestern New Hampshire, and expanding to play in Restaurants and Bars throughout northern New England. The trio currently has expanded beyond the restaurant with requests to play for receptions and ceremonies alike.
