A video of the live performance will be available to view online on-demand beginning Fri 2 September tickets www.pontine.orgMIGRACIONES is a poignant meditation on the global migration situation, which inspires compassion for the global refugee crisis. Sofia Padila, a resident of Mexico & Davey Steinman, a resident of the US, created "Migraciones" out of their shared fear of the increasingly harsh US-Mexico border restrictions and the potential loss of a future together. Padilla says "We needed to talk in our show about it, bringing more awareness to the subject, and also to honor all the people whose needs push them to migrate far from their homes forever." This production was developed with support from the Jim Henson Foundation and is touring New England following a tour of Mexico.
