Sofia Padila, a resident of Mexico & Davey Steinman, a resident of the US, created "Migraciones" out of their shared fear of the increasingly harsh US-Mexico border restrictions and the potential loss of a future together. Padilla says "We needed to talk in our show about it, bringing more awareness to the subject, and also to honor all the people whose needs push them to migrate far from their homes forever." This production was developed with support from the Jim Henson Foundation and is touring New England following a tour of Mexico.
