The Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki Trio, hailing from New Hampshire, is a dynamic ensemble that breathes fresh life into traditional Celtic music while weaving in their own original compositions. Led by award-winning fiddler Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki, the trio is completed by fellow New Hampshire natives Matt Jensen on guitar and Chris Noyes on upright bass. Jordan’s musical journey began in the woods of New Hampshire, where he learned fiddle informally through barn dances and contra dance music, eventually honing his craft into a virtuosic skill set recognized across New England and beyond. With a rich history that includes touring nationally with various bands, performing in Ireland, and contributing to over 75 albums, Jordan has earned accolades such as “Master Artist” by the NH State Council on the Arts and “Best Fiddler 2016” by NH Magazine. The trio’s performances blend foot-stomping fiddle tunes with heartfelt sing-alongs, showcasing a unique sound that draws from multiple genres while staying deeply rooted in Celtic traditions. This year, they are proud to be part of New England’s Shamrock Fest 2025, bringing their infectious energy to a celebration of Irish culture and music.

The Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki Trio has garnered widespread praise for their captivating performances and innovative approach to Celtic music. Bill Copeland Music News lauds Jordan’s fiddling as “brisk, lean, and exceedingly lovely,” noting that “one can feel the strength and resolve of the people who have nurtured this music over the centuries.” Their latest album, Into the Cold, has been described as “hauntingly beautiful” and “an instrumental coming of age story,” highlighting their ability to craft evocative original works. Couples who’ve hired them for weddings rave about their professionalism and versatility, with one reviewer from The Knot exclaiming, “They are three extremely talented musicians and seamlessly transitioned from our ceremony to reception dancing to more subdued late-night music.” Another fan remarked on their “remarkable talent” and how they “added so much to our wedding weekend” with crowd-pleasing tunes like “Rattling Bog.” As they prepare to take the stage at Shamrock Fest 2025, the trio continues to build on their reputation for delivering dynamic, emotionally resonant performances that leave audiences tapping their feet and singing along.
