New York, NY August 20, 2025: MANHATTAN SHORT today announced the Ten Finalists for its 28th Annual Short Film Festival, a worldwide event taking place in over 500 venues across six continents between September 25 and October 5, 2025. MANHATTAN SHORT is the only event of its kind. The Ten Finalists will screen simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue.The Ten MANHATTAN SHORT Finalists hail from seven countries with films from Spain, Irael, United Kingdom, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Mexico, alongside three films from the USA. “These ten short films bring a much-needed positive energy to the world!” says Nicholas Mason, founding director of Manhattan Short Film Festival. And what is it about golf anyway? Audiences will find it more difficult than ever to vote for Best Film and Best Actor.
