For the seventh edition Saint Amour Nederlands is travelling to the cradle of love: la bella Italia. There are masters and students in the art of seduction and no doubt the mastery began in the land of Berlusconi and la Cicciolina, but also from Catallus and Casanova.
In 2012 Saint Amour is colored azurely and honors the love for the forefront of Italian literature. Irene Lamponi, Francesco Pacifico, Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer, Sandro Veronesi, Herman Koch, Thom Hoffman and Arjen Lubach have already pledged their cooperation.
Saint Amour is always not only a literary program. Music and film clips bring the audience in the right atmosphere, in this case: Italian. Transparent brings again the adaptations of the grand virtuoso Vivaldi and Grain Dela Voixas well as the famous Italo-Belgian music club Muntagna Nera to life. Current barman Piet Piryns is not a ceremony master for the occasion but 'maestro delle ciremoni'.
