The fifth edition of the Off Broadway at the Hutton series, The Room Where It Happened was a sold-out concert of Broadway favorites inspired by America's 250th birthday, featuring songs of protest and patriotism from Hamilton, Les Misérables, Spring Awakening, Ragtime, Hair, Suffs and more. The evening was hosted by Rachel Potter and featured Justin Sargent, DeeJay Young, Diana DeGarmo, Stephanie Umoh, Omar Cardona, Ty Herndon, Michael Passons, Melissa Greene, Matt Bloyd, Jada Wasserman, Piper Jones, and Annabelle Fox. The concert took audiences on a musical journey through history, giving voice to the people, conflicts and choices that shaped modern democracy through the lens of musical theater.
