GUT, written by Scottish playwright Frances Poet and directed by Julie K. Phillips, makes its U.S. premiere at The Hive Collaborative in St. Paul. Set in pre-pandemic Scotland, the play follows a mother whose imagination spirals into obsession after her young child spends unsupervised time with a stranger, blurring the line between reality and paranoia. Originally commissioned by the National Theatre of Scotland and first staged at Traverse Theatre in 2018, this production marks the first time the play has been performed in the United States. The cast features Dani Krivinchuk, Nick Wolf, Elizabeth Desotelle, and Sean Dillon.
