Between fantasy tale and object theater
offset in a spectacular staging,
funny and lyrical.
A boarding home from 6 to 106 years
to go around the world.

"I have scrupulously respected the chronology
Travellers in a great assembly, tonic, funny,
using all the resources of the trans-
position in the service of theatrical imagination and
the universe of Jules Verne. The author was a
playwright before being a novelist, and
"20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" is written as
a long monologue in the first person that
allowing a perfect fit text
without changing it.
To mount this piece I chose the main
principle of an official reception held at
when the teacher returns to earth
farm after his long journey under the sea. I
wanted an office as the only decoration. But
which office (450kg machines and over 60
effects in the show!)
The teacher is the naturalist at the Museum
Paris, his office is filled with animals
stuffed, bone or shell, it is
qu'Aronnax will use them to embody the
characters of his odyssey. While the fate of
memories Aronnax, so everything comes out of his
office as if his memory was there before

him and he was playing with. It's a show off
standard mixture of puppetry, drama
street in a fast pace and it goes
surprise after another throughout the world to
the other.
I kept all the parts of the text which
reference to humanitarian ideals and ecological
giques. Aronnax and Nemo denounce fishing
excessive, the extermination of species, they
for climate change and prevent
of global warming, they speak of
Gulf Stream. They defend the sea, art, sci-
ence, criticize slavery and colonization ...
