Gypsy, a musical fable of ambition and family, kicks off at Skylight Music Theatre this season. Directed by Michael Unger, the show follows a determined stage mother pushing her daughters toward stardom during the tumultuous transition from vaudeville to burlesque in the 1920s and 30s. With a score by Jule Styne and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Gypsy explores the grit and glamour of show business, making it one of Broadway's most celebrated musicals. Performances run from September 25 to October 18, 2026.
