Announcing the world premiere of an original Michigan romantic drama Standing in the Doorway written and directed by Commerce Township resident Elise Marra. Performances will take place Friday, May 31st at 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 1st at both 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Pontiac Little Art Theatre at 47 North Saginaw St. in Pontiac, Michigan. Doors open 30 minutes prior to show.High school sweethearts Jericho and Xavier have been dating for fifteen years yet still have not committed to marriage. At her therapists recommendation, Jericho asks Xavier to agree to an open relationship. Over the next two weeks, Jericho and Xavier struggle with old ghosts and new temptations to discover whether their relationship can survive.Director Marra is thrilled to feature an incredibly talented cast of performers including Camy Sylvestre (BroadwayWorld Detroit nominee), Cody Barger, Jake House, Erica Suszek, Diane Wozniak, and Zach Currin. This past January, Marra directed her first original musical production Almost Alcatraz at Starlight Theater.
