Wild Horses at Williamston Theatre

Suzi Regan has worked as an actor and director, sometimes arts administrator or writer in the Metro Detroit area for over thirty-five years. She has been recognized and awarded for her work on new and established plays here at Williamston Theatre, as well as the Purple Rose Theatre Company, Performance Network Theatre of Ann Arbor, JET, Meadow Brook Theatre, Tipping Point Theatre and others. Her credits outside Michigan include work at the Signature Theatre, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and Hartford Stage. Most recently Suzi worked on the other side of the table as a Talent Agent at Productions Plus where she gained incredible perspective of the inner workings of the film, television, commercial, print and voiceover industry and talent.

Mary is an adjunct associate professor in Theatre at Lansing Community College (LCC) , where she has taught Acting Shakespeare, Theatre History and Play Directing for the past 20+ years. She taught Advocacy as a Performing Art at the MSU College of Law from 2008-2017 and various courses at MSU Dept. of Theatre (1999-2005). Prior to her theatre work, she practiced labor and employment law representing Michigan teachers and school employees. She has a BA from the University of Vermont in American Ethnic Studies, a JD from Northwestern University School of Law, and an MA from Michigan State University. Mary has directed extensively in the Lansing community including, most recently, Intimate Apparel and Belle Moral at LCC, Memoir and Taking Shakespeare at WT, Fun Home, Eurydice, and Indecent at Peppermint Creek Theatre Co. (PCTC), Summer Retreat, Dancing and Lughnasa, Proof and Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet at Over the Ledge Theatre Co. (OTL). Directing awards include productions of Fun Home (PCTC), Taking Shakespeare (Williamston Theatre), Moon Over Buffalo and In The Next Room or the Vibrator Play, (OTL), Copenhagen (RWT) Ragtime (LCC), James Joyce's The Dead (RWT), Pride & Prejudice, (LCC), and Let's Get A Divorce and The Dining Room (RWT.)

Aaron has worked in both professional and academic theatre since 2013. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors in Entertainment, Design, & Technology in 2017. He has been a member of the Michigan Shakespeare Festival (2014-2018), working as a Master Carpenter and Production Technical Director. In 2018, he joined the Williamston Theatre as an apprentice, and in 2019, became its first in house Technical Director. He is an avid painter and poet.

Shannon T. Schweitzer, Assistant Professor of Lighting Design at Michigan State University, received his BA from Mount Union College and his MFA in Production Design from Michigan State University. He has designed lights and sets from the East Coast to the Midwest, designing over 100 productions. He has served as the Resident Lighting Designer for the Ohio Light Opera for ten summers designing over thirty shows at OLO. In NYC Shannon has worked with Playwrights Horizons, The Public Theatre, Theatre Ten Ten, and The Zipper Theatre; having worked with Broadway legends Donald Holder, Kevin Adams, Howell Binkley, and Jennifer Tipton, all Tony Award winners. Shannon has also served as the Resident Lighting Designer for Theater of Youth in Buffalo. In 2005 Shannon received two ACTF awards in Lighting Design for Tea and Sympathy and The Children's Hour as well as The Lansing State Journal award for Best Set Design for The House of Blue Leaves & Best Lighting Design for Pulp​ at Williamston Theater, Into the Woods, as well as Lansing City Pulsar nominations for Best Lighting Designs for Tea and Sympathy, Hair, Thus with a Kiss I Die, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, as well as Peter Pan.

Lupe Vazquez is a Detroit native who grew up on the Southwest side of Detroit. They are currently a Senior at Wayne State University studying for a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology in Costuming with a Minor in Design. Past Costume Design credits include No Exit and Motor City Cabaret: Magic (Wayne State University) and Assistant Costume Designer for The Mountain Top (Hope Summer Repertory Theatre). When they're not doing theatre they can be found drawing or sleeping.

John has been acting professionally since he joined the Screen Actors Guild in 1991. Over the years, he has worked at such venues as The Signature Theatre in New York, St. Louis Rep, Hartford Stage, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, The Gem in Detroit, and Ford’s Theatre in Washington DC. He has also been featured in over 20 films and Television series. John received his BA in Theatre from Michigan State University and his MFA in Acting from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Recent appearances on Michigan stages include Frankie and Johnny in the Clair De Lune (Thespie Award, Best Actor), This Wonderful Life (Pulsar Award, Best Actor, Wilde Award, Best Actor), Leaving Iowa (World Premiere, Thespie Award, Best Actor, Detroit Free Press Award, Best Actor), Bus Stop (Wilde Award, Best Supporting Actor, Detroit Free Press Award, Best Supporting Actor). Since opening the Williamston Theatre, John has directed over 15 plays including The Lion In Winter, Talley’s Folly, The Effect of Gamma Rays…, While We Were Bowling (Pulsar Award, Best Director and Best Play) and Ebenezer (World Premiere). John is also an adjunct professor at Michigan State University, where he has served as guest host for the MSU Federal Credit Union Guest Artist Series, and interviewed Brian Bedford and Tony Kushner at the Wharton Center.
