Plowshares Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Cándido Tirado's play, Roberto Clemente: A Diamond Within, directed by Gary Anderson. This poignant production explores the life and legacy of baseball icon and humanitarian Roberto Clemente, focusing on his contributions to the Afro-Latino community and his advocacy for civil rights. The play will run from June 5 through June 28, 2026, at the Marlene Boll Theatre in Detroit, celebrating Clemente's impact both on and off the field.
