Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre is excited to kick off the 2015-16 Season with the Off-Broadway musical hit The Toxic Avenger. Based on Lloyd Kaufman's 1984 cult film of the same name, The Toxic Avenger is a charming and hysterical love story that has it all – an unlikely hero, his beautiful girlfriend, a corrupt New Jersey mayor and two guys who play every other character in the play; including bullies, monsters, old ladies and stiletto-wearing back up singers. It’s a toxic love story with an environmental twist that will rock the house and leave audiences laughing out loud.
