Zara wants to save the planet.

Her boyfriend Matty wants free, same-day delivery on a set of macaw bookends.

When an all-knowing and unsettlingly chipper customer service rep arrives at their door, their relationship must withstand an AI-driven, dystopian consumerist crucible. Suddenly, no one is who they used to be, mysterious boxes pile up higher and higher, and Matty and Zara’s Alexa starts encouraging murder.

Wickedly funny and darkly absurd, Thank You for Your Order asks whether online algorithms know us better than we know ourselves and whether love can even exist under late-stage capitalism in this sharp new satire from O'Neill finalist playwright Jessica Moss.

InHouse will present the West Coast premiere of Thank You for Your Order as an immersive theatrical experience in an exclusive two-week run July 17-21 and July 24-28 at the Brewery Arts Complex, Los Angeles.
