North Hollywood, CA — The ACT III Resident Company will present the world premiere of Where The Fireflies Rest, a new multigenerational drama directed by Joe Garcia and based on a story by Adam Chambers, running June 24–27, 2026 at the LACAE Theater in North Hollywood.
An intimate, character-driven drama, Where The Fireflies Rest explores the connections we hold to the people and places that shape us, examining memory, belonging, family, and the lasting impact of home.
Produced through the Los Angeles Community of Acting & Entertainment (LACAE), the production features members of the ACT III Resident Company alongside acclaimed guest artists Deborah Baker Jr. (The Great North, Stan Against Evil) and award-winning actress Gica Pucca, whose recent work has earned multiple Best Actress honors on the independent film festival circuit.
The ensemble includes Devin Evola, Rosie Ryden, Luana Larsen, Chiara Gheller, Nick Bennett, Shayne Wilson, Evyn Arreguin, Joseph Proctor, Ally Rochee, and Maria Paula Rodriguez.
Where The Fireflies Rest reflects LACAE's commitment to developing artists at every stage of their careers while creating opportunities for emerging and established performers to collaborate on original work.
