The Miracle Project is a fully inclusive theater, film, and expressive arts program focused on building communication, self-esteem, and life skills for neurodivergent, disabled, and non-disabled individuals. Using groundbreaking and evidence-based methods developed by our founder, Elaine Hall, The Miracle Project meets each participant where they are and builds on their strengths and abilities.
SHOW DESCRIPTION
Who are we beneath the roles we play?
A group of former child stars reunites to perform at a fan convention where mysterious products promising confidence, popularity, and belonging begin appearing everywhere. As backstage tensions rise and old insecurities resurface, the masks they wear begin to slip, forcing the performers to confront who they are both onstage and off.
Created by The Miracle Project, Unmasked is an original theatrical production featuring neurodivergent, neurotypical, disabled, and nondisabled artists ages 5–65. Blending comedy, original music, live performance, and film, the production explores identity, performance, and the courage it takes to be authentically seen.
TWO PERFORMANCES • ONE SHARED EXPERIENCE
Unmasked will be presented in two performances on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
While both performances feature the same core storyline, each show highlights different members of The Miracle Project community through unique sketches, musical numbers, scenes, and performance pieces. Audience members attending both performances will experience additional material and have the opportunity to see a wider range of performers and classes featured throughout the day.
Between performances, guests are invited to join us for a cast celebration and community gathering in the Education Courtyard at the Wallis.
Discounted ticket packages are available for attendees purchasing tickets to both performances.
CREATED BY THE TMP COMMUNITY
As The Miracle Project celebrates its 21st year, Unmasked continues the organization’s tradition of creating original productions that amplify neurodivergent voices through theater, music, film, and improvisation.
Developed collaboratively across The Miracle Project’s classes, Unmasked features original scenes, music, comedy, video content, and autobiographically inspired performances created by participants across the TMP community.
At the center of the production is The Miracle Project’s Company Class, an advanced performance ensemble in which neurodivergent and nondisabled artists collaboratively develop original theatrical work.
The production also includes contributions from participants in:
Triple Threat Musical Theater Class
Express Yourself Class for Multimodality Communicators
Improv for Interaction Social Skills Groups
I Can Do That: Professional Acting for Film & TV Classes
Musical Makers Ensemble
Miracles in Action Leadership Development & Community Service Group
This year’s production also incorporates original video content created by participants in The Miracle Project’s virtual programming, connecting artists from across the country through collaborative storytelling, music, and film.
