The Long Beach Shakespeare Company presents its annual tradition, The Wizard of Oz, a live radio adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic, adapted by S. H. Barnett and directed by Joe Montanari and produced by Holly Leveque. This immersive audio experience will transport audiences to Oz through the magic of sound and storytelling.
Running February 21 – March 2, 2025, this production brings Dorothy’s fantastical journey to life with live voice acting, rich sound effects, and a touch of nostalgia. Audiences of all ages will be reminded of timeless themes of courage, friendship, and homecoming—more relevant than ever today.
Performances dates: 2/21, 2/22, 2/23, 2/28, 3/1 and 3/2
