Summer Jazz Intensive at Pacific Jazz Orchestra

Pacific Jazz Orchestra and Heart of Los Angeles are launching a Summer Jazz Intensive, offering a two-week enrichment program for music students aged 14-20 passionate about jazz performance. Running from June 15-26, 2026, at the Heart of Los Angeles campus, the program includes personalized instruction from world-class jazz artists, ensemble training, industry insights, and a performance opportunity. The initiative is directed by Chris Walden, a seven-time GRAMMY-nominated composer and conductor, and aims to nurture young talent from diverse backgrounds. Students will enhance their skills through hands-on experiences, culminating in a recital concert.
