RONALD is a clown meditation on the world’s most beloved, silliest, and hamburger-eatingest clown. This earnest yet idiotic show invites audiences to explore the fictional origin story of Ronald and his epic fall from public grace. From working as a humble fry cook with aspirations of performing to becoming a global corporate icon, this show highlights the artists’ struggle for survival and asks questions such as, “Can we make a living off of craft without compromising artistic integrity?” all while glorifying the almighty burger in the dumbest of displays.
RONALD, a new solo clown show starring Jenna Podell, debuts at The Broadwater Theater in Hollywood on June 8th. The show explores the fictional origin story of a beloved clown, blending humor and heartfelt moments.
