Rancho Cucamonga Community Theatre presents Miracle on 34th Street - - December 5 – 13, 2015
The Holiday Classic Come to Life, LIVE on Stage!
Adapted by Mountain Community Theater from the novel by Valentine Davies
Based upon the 20th Century Fox motion picture Miracle on 34th Street
When Kris Kringle, a nice, old man from a retirement home gets a job working as a Christmas Santa at Macy’s, his honest and generous spirit winds up unleashing waves of good will throughout New York City, along with a hint of magic in the heart of a very practical little girl. Seen as deluded and dangerous by Macy’s vocational counselor, Kris ends up in a court competency hearing where his freedom and the joys of childhood fantasy are at stake. This is a tale we want to believe in, where love and decency and generosity of spirit are their own rewards. Share this perennial holiday favorite with the entire family this year! Recommended for ages 8+. Performance dates begin December 5 – 13, 2015 with performances on Saturdays (December 5 & 12) at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm and Sundays (December 6 & 13) at 2:00 pm at the Lewis Family Playhouse, 12505 Cultural Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739.
