Pacific Jazz Orchestra presents Miles & Trane at 100, a tribute to Miles Davis and John Coltrane, marking the centennial of their births, performed by the 40-piece LA-based hybrid big band and string orchestra under the direction of seven-time GRAMMY-nominated composer, arranger, and conductor Chris Walden. The program features newly arranged versions of classic works by both artists, whose five-year collaboration from 1955 to 1960 helped define the course of modern jazz through modal improvisation. Special guests include trumpeter Sean Jones, pianist Emmet Cohen, and saxophonist Jacob Scesney. The performance takes place on May 28, 2026, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
