The program also featuresCorelli’s rich and festive Concerto Grosso in D major Opus 6, No.4;Geminiani’s charming Concerto Grosso in D major, Op.5, No.1; andHandel’s grand Concerto Grosso in A major Op.6, No.11, one of the Baroque era’s most celebrated pieces for strings.
This program is dedicated in memory of Warner W. Henry, Board Director emeritus, and his love of chamber and Baroque music.
