Before Hamilton, there was IN THE HEIGHTS: the Tony Award-winning musical that introduced the world to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s groundbreaking voice. Set in New York City’s vibrant Washington Heights neighborhood, the story follows bodega owner Usnavi and the friends, families, and neighbors who dream, struggle, celebrate, and build a future together. Filled with unforgettable songs, electrifying dance, and a blend of hip-hop, salsa, merengue, and soul, IN THE HEIGHTS is a joyful celebration of heritage, resilience, and the power of community. At its heart, it asks a timeless question: What does it mean to belong?
