A titillating Bi-venture. A World Premiere Comedy-Drama. After spending many years in a lesbian relationship, Amy decides it would be easier to “be straight.” The groom is Tim, her best buddy from high school who has loved her since the day they met. Assuming marriage and living a “normal, straight life” will be as easy as it appears in the movies, Amy commits to her goal of marrying Tim (with her former lover as maid of honor). Both desperate for their individual sexual and spiritual dreams to be realized, Tim and Amy plow forward, clinging desperately to what they think they want. But divine intervention propels them in directions neither could ever have predicted. Bisexual, gay, straight, spiritual, atheist - all need apply - because Wendy Michaels’ GOD and SEX has something for everyone. Directed by Santa Monica Playhouse Artistic Director Chris DeCarlo.
