Fostered is an adult comedy about a rather chaotic family in Scarsdale, New York. Set in 2016, just prior to the election, and moving into 2017, parents Karen and Sandy Foster are ready and excited to make some big changes in their lives. Their plans are thwarted by their adult children who return home, one by one, beset with problems. Each family member is forced to take a good hard look at who they’ve been pretending to be. Karen and Sandy find a way to move ahead with their lives as they, and their children, learn to embrace their authentic selves…and oh, there’s vodka! After a new year marked by devastation from the Los Angeles fires, Fostered reminds us that even in the ashes, laughter has the power to rebuild.
“A must-see world premiere comedy. The spirit of silliness and fun is bubbly and infectious. Sexy, smart, funny and effervescent, like a classic, delicious Woody Allen sex comedy? The roars of audience laughter and applause never let up, and personally, I laughed so hard, I almost fell out of my chair. “Pitch perfect direction by acclaimed TV comedy director Andrew D. Weyman and a dream cast, Fostered is an absolute smash. You do not want to miss this one. It is a true pleasure to see something as light-hearted, silly and madcap as Fostered" - Broadway World
