Jean-Yves Thibaudet has said in interviews he sees many sides of Claude Debussy from the Impressionist to the Neoclassicist to a composer who was inventing his own musical language. That subtlety and nuance has made Thibaudet an expert interpreter of Debussy, including multiple recordings dedicated to the composers repertoire that were called a cornucopia of delights by Gramophone, who said, If you want to hear Debussy new-minted, with air-spun and scintillating textures, Thibaudet is your man. The French pianist comes to Walt Disney Concert Hall for a recital dedicated to the music of Debussy.
