The timeless story of ignorance, deceit and the struggle for power sees Lear, an aging king and father, reject the child who truly loves him and is unable to see beyond the lies of his eldest daughters. Lear’s blindness unleashes a tornado of pitiless ambition and treachery, as family and state are plunged into a violent power struggle with bitter ends.
