This biting comedy offers a glimpse into the life of Vera Stark, a headstrong African American actress who begins her career at a time when her only shot at success lay in stealing small scenes in big Hollywood blockbusters. By the Way, Meet Vera Stark paints a vivid picture of the cultural climate in 1930s Hollywood. Fridays, April 12 and April 19, at 8 p.m. Saturdays, April 13 and April 20, at 8 p.m. Sundays, April 14 and April 21, at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at 8 p.m.
Location: Joan and Donald Schaeffer Black Box Theater, Joseph G. Shapiro Family Hall, South Campus.
