"What would make you happy?" That question lies at the crux of the Tony Award-winning comedy The Little Dog Laughed by Douglas Carter Beane. Hollywood agent Diane is trying to secure the film rights of a hot Broadway play for her client, up-and-coming film actor Mitchell Green, while doing all she can to keep him in the closet. It seems Mitchell has fallen for New York City rent boy Alex, who's sharing a Brooklyn apartment with his needy girlfriend Ellen. Will there be a happy ending for these characters?
