Seminar by Theresa Rebeck at EastLine Productions

Seminar, the 2011 Broadway comedy written by Theresa Rebeck, follows four young writers who take a ten-week private course in an Upper West Side apartment with Leonard, an internationally-known writer and editor. Under Leonard's acerbic and unorthodox tutelage, the four become rivals, where alliances are made and betrayed, sex is used as a weapon, and hearts get broken. Nominated for Best Play by the Outer Critics Circle and the Drama League of New York, Seminar shows us not only how one becomes a good writer, but what it means to be a good artist.
