A group of men are detained and held to wait unkowingly, for what turns out to be an "inspection" by Nazi authorities and Vichy French police during World War II. What follows is an hour and 20 minutes of raw dialogue in a claustrophobic setting that forces us to examine the question "What is one's life really worth?"
