EastLine Theatre presents the classic comedy Harvey, celebrating its 80th anniversary this August at the BACCA Arts Center in Lindenhurst. Written by Mary Chase, the story revolves around Elwood P. Dowd, who introduces his friends to his whimsical imaginary companion, a six-foot tall rabbit. Frank DiSpigno takes on the iconic role made famous by Jimmy Stewart, while the cast includes Jess Abbotts, Dan Bellusci, and Taylor Rae Dunn. Directed by Matt Rosenberg, this production aims to provide a thought-provoking reflection on human connection and acceptance.
