Bay Street Theater presents Harper Lee's TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, adapted for the stage by Academy Award-winning writer Aaron Sorkin and directed by Bay Street Theater co-founder Stephen Hamilton, running November 11–29, 2026, in Sag Harbor, NY.
One of America's most beloved and enduring stories comes to life in this powerful theatrical adaptation. Set in Depression-era Alabama, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD follows attorney Atticus Finch as he defends Tom Robinson, a Black man falsely accused of a crime, while his children, Scout and Jem, confront the realities of prejudice, injustice, and moral courage.
Featuring a talented company of professional actors, Aaron Sorkin's acclaimed adaptation brings new urgency and perspective to Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, exploring themes of justice, compassion, and the courage to stand up for what is right.
Presented as part of Bay Street Theater's acclaimed Literature Live! program, now in its 18th year, this professional production also provides thousands of area students with the opportunity to experience live theater at no cost.
Experience this timeless American classic in the intimate setting of Bay Street Theater, located in the heart of Sag Harbor.
