The Last Waltz Celebration marks the 50th anniversary of The Band's legendary farewell concert held on Thanksgiving Day 1976 at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. The THE BAND Band, the world's leading tribute to The Band with over 400 performances since 2007, performs a set of The Band's most beloved songs before a second set featuring a revolving cast of musicians performing songs of the guest stars from the original concert. Past cameo appearances have included Tom Chapin, Rex Fowler of Aztec Two-Step, and fiddler Larry Packer, who played with The Band at the original Last Waltz in 1976. The show culminates with the entire cast filling the stage for a grand finale.
