Bay Street Theatre Presents 'Adam and Anthony Live' 6/13

By:

Bay Street Theatre is pleased to announce a very special performance on Monday, June 13 at 8 pm. ADAM & ANTHONY LIVE! In Concert! For the first time, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, the stars from "RENT," are embarking on a National Concert Tour. Their only 2011 Long Island stop will be at Bay Street Theatre!

From their auspicious Broadway debut in Jonathan Larson's "RENT" to their recent starring roles in the National Tour of the Tony® Award-winning hit, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp have never lost their international fan base. Now, after 15 years of friendship and co-starring roles, these two iconic Broadway stars are coming together to offer fans what they've been waiting for: an up close and personal concert tour featuring both their individual work as well as sharing the stage and their RENT affiliation.

The show will feature both an intimate trio for Adam and a full pop band for Anthony. (Piano, Keyboard, Bass, Drums, Guitar, Cello). Both Adam and Anthony will share the band in their duets.

The evening will feature material from both of these artists solo shows: Anthony's concert features well known pop songs ("Losing My Religion") and original material from his award winning Off Broadway show "Without You" : Cool songs with a hot band. Adam's MEANDLARRY set, featuring Musical Director Larry Edoff, offers original material as well as classics from "WEST SIDE STORY", "CABARET," CATS" and cool and hip arrangements of classic standards.Together, they'll share stories about working on Jonathan Larsen's Pulitzer Prize winning musical and offer duets as they performed them in both the Broadway and National Tour engagements as well as in the film.

Tickets are $45, $55, $65 and $75. A limited number of $125 tickets are available that include a reception with Adam and Anthony. For tickets call 631-725-9500 or log on to www.baystreet.org.
