NUNSENSE
JUNE 27 - AUGUST 2
Book, music and lyrics written by Dan Goggin
NUNSENSE is a habit-forming, riotous musical spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a
fundraiser. Sadly, the rest of the sisterhood died from botulism after eating soup prepared by Sister Julia Child
of God. Thus, the remaining nuns –Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer; Sister Mary Hubert,
the Mistress of Novices; a streetwise nun from Brooklyn named Sister Robert Anne; Sister Mary Leo, a novice
who is a wannabe ballerina; the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia, the nun who lost her memory when a
crucifix fell on her head – stage a talent show in order to raise the money to bury their dearly departed. With
catchy songs and irreverent comedy, NUNSENSE is sure to keep audiences rolling with laughter.
