The Kansas City Horror Play Festival returns to The Black Box, showcasing eight short horror plays that promise to scare and entertain. Created by Erika Lynnette Baker and co-produced with Chris M. Arnone, this year's festival features work from six playwrights and performances by a talented cast of local actors. Alongside, the Spooky Sh!t Show by Derek Trautwein brings a fresh twist with its 80s theme, blending campy humor and horror. Audiences can enjoy separate show nights or a thrilling double feature on Halloween and the following Friday.
