Camp Lindenmere is looking for Theater Counselors in a variety of disciplines that can round out our amazing Theater Program at our overnight, summer camp.  Our counselors will teach and instruct campers all aspects of creating and performing musical theater productions. We are looking for instructors to assist with: set design, costume design, voice, piano, lighting, and sound. The candidates will live on camp and have all food and accommodation included, as well as a competitive salary, staff t-shirts and laundry services...not to mention a whole lot of fun!

Located in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Pocono Mountains, Camp Lindenmere is a private, coed sleep-away camp established in 1935. Our focus is on the individual growth of each child and our campers range in age from 7 to 17. We run Sports, Arts, Performing Arts, Adventure, STEM and Circus & Gymnastics programs on a daily basis across our beautiful facilities.

Our staff members will act as a general counselor at certain points of the day while teaching their chosen activity area for the majority. In addition, we understand that a large part of the staff experience is socializing and down-time is important. We have a calendar of staff activities and events for time off. We also have a great staff lounge and are currently investing in other staff perks.

Position Purpose:
To further the mission of Camp Lindenmere through the development and delivery of quality programming, where campers learn skills and gain experience, through instruction that is safe, fun, and appropriate to the campers’ age and abilities. Our Theater Staff are key to the success of our Performing Arts Program and use their creative mindset and techniques to help deliver an exciting program to all who participate.
