The House Must Win is a world premiere musical with script, lyrics, and music by Mick Flannery, drawing on songs from his debut album Evening Train alongside ten new compositions. Set on the western edge of Ireland in the 1970s, it follows two brothers whose diverging paths are shaped by backroom poker games, secrets, and broken hearts. Tommy Tiernan makes his musical theatre debut as Ray, alongside Tabitha Smyth as Grace, with an ensemble cast including Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Niall McNamee, John McCarthy, Orlagh De Bhaldraithe, and Damien Kearney. The production is directed by Julie Kelleher, with Liam Robinson serving as Music Supervisor.
