Ten Hands Topology at Komunitas Salihara

In the beginning, ten hands played in a grand piano. Then each musician performing with their respective instruments. They worked together intensively to create music that they are derived from the tradition of chamber music, progressive rock, and improvisation in jazz and theatrical like indie music. They flirt between the composition and improvisation standard virtuositas challenging. The result is a powerful emotional journey, pleasant, gentle, meditative, bold and carefree.

With fluidity is maintained and each piece different from each other, almost without excessive repetition, no doubt, Ten Hands is a special musical language of topology. Ten Hands premiering at the Brisbane Powerhouse, 14 November 2010, and last year he scored a success at the Festival Ghent, Belgium.

Topology consists of Christa Powell (violin), John Babbage (saxophone), Bernard Hoey (viola), Therese Milanovic (piano), Robert Davidson (kontrabass).
