When Nan Jombang Dance Company dance training center in Padang, West Sumatra, 30 September 2009, an earthquake measuring 7.6 shook the city's SR. The disaster was then pushed ery Mefri and the dancers develop new work titled Dance Night. A choreography of the robustness of the human soul in the face of adverse effects of natural disasters. Dance Night questioning again the concept of sin and the position of women as mothers and caregivers earth harmonious world. Ery-motion Mefri expand vocabulary and voice from the rich tradition of the Minangkabau. As martial arts movement in Randai, Dance Platter, and poetry in Petatah musikalitas-saying. With the principle of "the flared nature to be a teacher" it was absorbing and refreshing traditional Minangkabau dance while enriching it with modern dance elements.
Since its establishment in 1983, Nan Jombang Dance Company has been producing a variety of choreography and staged at art events in the country and abroad.
