Fun Home at Shelton Auditorium

Fun Home is a Tony Award-winning musical with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, based on Alison Bechdel's graphic memoir. The production follows graphic novelist Alison Bechdel as she reflects on her father's death and looks back on her childhood, piecing together memories of her closeted father, her own coming out journey, and the questions that continue to shape her life. Directed by Marcia Eppich-Harris, the cast includes Julie Lyn Barber as Adult Alison, Emery Haley as Medium Alison, Ellie Richart as Young Alison, Patrick Vaughn as Bruce, Afton Shepherd as Helen, and Nia Hughes as Joan, among others. The production opens Southbank Theatre Company's sixth season, titled Origin Stories.
