Winnie-the-Pooh and Bunraku Too at Honolulu Theatre for Youth

Honolulu Theatre for Youth presents the world premiere of Winnie-the-Pooh and Bunraku Too, adapted from A. A. Milne's beloved stories and incorporating traditional Japanese Bunraku puppetry. The production, launching HTY's 70th Birthday Season, features ensemble members Annie Lokomaikaʻi Lipscomb, Mattea Mazzella, Kalā Muller, Hermenigildo Tesoro Jr., and Emily Wright. Directed by Eric Johnson, the show brings to life iconic characters through intricate puppet designs inspired by E. H. Shepard's illustrations. The creative team includes master puppeteer Lynn Jeffries and designers Chesley Cannon, Eric West, and Iris Kim.
