Measure for Measure Theatre's Production of ISLAND SONG Postponed, PIPPIN Cancelled
UPDATE (3/18/2020): Measure for Measure Theatre's production of Pippin (scheduled to run Thursday, April 23 through Sunday, May 10) has been CANCELLED.
On March 12, State Director of Emergency Management Jared Moskowitz advised that "municipalities cancel all major gatherings in their jurisdictions until further notice."
To ensure the health and safety of our audiences, Measure for Measure Theatre's production of Island Song has been postponed. This decision was taken based on the recommendations of The City of Sunrise in response to the current virus (COVID-19) outbreak. Measure for Measure's masterclass hosted by Natalie Weiss (schedule for March 25) will also be cancelled.
Measure for Measure Theatre will remain vigilant, and we are prepared to make decisions based on current recommendations as well as in response to the changing conditions. These decisions will be posted on our social media pages and website.
