SPT SPT 4; $381/week min.

SEEKING

Equity actors and actor/singers for various roles. See breakdown.

PREPARATION

Actors will read from sides, provided at the auditions. If auditioning for the musical DADDY LONGLEGS, also prepare 16/32 bars of a song. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. All bring picture and resume.

JERVIS (Tenor/Baritone): Male, 25-40. Physical type- tall & slim. Aristocratic & progressive.

JERUSHA (Alto): Female 18-25. Smart, headstrong, independent..

PRIVATE LIVES
First rehearsal June 26. Open July 20. Close August 19.
All curtain times 7:30 pm
Performances July 19, 20, 24-28, July 31-August 4, Aughst 7-11, 14-18.

Seeking (all characters have British dialect)

ELYOT CHASE: a handsome, thirtyish man. Witty, irreverent, sophisticated Englishman.

AMANDA PRYNNE: Elyot’s first wife, newly married to Victor Prynne. Spirited, independent, and unconventional.

SIBYL CHASE: Elyot’s blond, attractive, twenty-three-year-old bride. Conventional, unimaginative, and innocent.

VICTOR PRYNNE: a handsome man a few years older than Elyot. Stuffy and stodgy.

LOUISE: Amanda’s French-speaking maid. Inability to speak English and incomprehension of the bizarre occurrences in the apartment provide a number of laughs.

BASIL: male, Greek, 50s -- grounded and imaginative

JANE JR.: female, Evanstonian, 20s -- stuck, carries the weight of the world in her brain
